Warwickshire businesswoman wins award for Outstanding Business Growth

Managing director of Warwick-based business, First Impressions Ltd, Lyn Bromley, received an award for outstanding business growth at a black tie dinner on Saturday 9th June 2012 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, NEC, Birmingham.
The Women Inspiring Women Awards were sponsored by Damsels in Success. Lyn was recognised for steering the business to exceptional growth over the last 12 months culminating in expansion to China.
Lyn, who lives with her family near Warwick, took over ownership of First Impressions Training in Autumn 2010.
Receiving the award, Lyn said: “I'd like to thank all of my colleagues, friends, family and my very supportive husband. I am passionate about giving people body confidence, to love their bodies and dress in a way to show the bits they’re happy with and disguise the bits they don’t like. When we look good on the outside it helps you feel good on the inside.”
Prior to taking over First Impressions, Lyn worked as a corporate and personal image coach. Her real passion is helping people to maximise their potential by enhancing their personal image profile, ensuring that they pay as much attention to their own ‘branding’ as they do to their technical skills. She says: “Creating a professional image is as important as the technical competencies for career and personal development.”
She is a Master of the Federation of Image Professionals International, having passed her Masters Award by assessment. Lyn is also an NLP Master Practitioner, Master Practitioner of Timeline Therapy and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
Lyn is currently developing a programme for schools to help young people feel more comfortable with their body image.
